Price Paid:  $200.00 from Radio Shack

Summary:
Plenty good for the $$$. It does require changing the volume depending on the type of music or movie.

Review 3 of 12

Price Paid:  $149.00 from Radio Shack

Summary:
I have the RCA version of this sub, which is identical except they took out the remote control for the volume. Good sub for the price, which is $199. It was on sale for $149 so I couldn't pass it up. It doesn't go as deep as more expensive 12" subs, maybe down to the 30-35hz range. It could also be a little tighter, but for the price, I won't complain.

Strengths:
Price, power, solid build quality.

Weaknesses:
Might not be as tight or deep sounding as other 12" subs.

Review 5 of 12

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Radio Shack

Summary:
Well i got this sub over a year ago, and its been awesome. its a great sub for the money, but i do notice it has more quantity than quality. If you really into quality, then spend more, but for the price it puts out some nice sound. I was comparing the quality with a cerwin vega 12" 150 watt. that sub produced more ''thumping'' or however it was decribed, but still didnt have the power mine has.

Strengths:
good buy

Weaknesses:
no thumping

Similar Products Used:
cerwin vega 12" 150 watt

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....
