Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $800.00 from Private Seller

Summary:
I can crank my stereo all the way up, and these 12" woofers don't even break a sweat! Now I need to upgrade my full range speakers from Classics to the Focus Line! Not a cheap amp that comes with this sub, as so often is the case. I'm sure it really is putting out 250+ watts of clean power. Better sounding sub than anyone else's that I've heard.

Strengths:
Very nice fit/finish. Smooth, tight, and clean bass.

Weaknesses:
Controls are all manually adjustable only, and hard to reach (back panel).

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
What's to write about a sub? They do incredibly tight bass about as well as any sub made. I also heard their Foundation sub powered and it was incredible!

Strengths:
One of the best subs available in the marketplace.Built to let 2-12" woofers go wild!

Weaknesses:
Moving them in and out is very challenging.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
