Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Nobody Beats the Wiz

Summary:
Bought this sub very cheaply and have never regretted it. It was a beat up floor model with a blown amp that Klipsch replaced at no charge. I bought it as well as other beat up elements of the now discontinued Klipsch THX Home Theater System when our local Nobody Beats the Wiz went out of business. Filled the dings and scratches and repainted black. Like new! Don’t understand why it was discontinued. It provides dramatic LFE effects (although not as dramatic as the KSW-15) and is good with music also (although not as good as LH-10). Great compromise, however. Bet the SW15-II is really something!

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $600.00 from Good Vibes

Summary:
I bought the SW-12 several years ago. And it has been the best sub I have ever owned. I have many friend that have subs and none of them come close to the FEEL of BASS when you have this baby's rock'n! It is great for movies or just about anything you are listening to. For the money there is nothing else that compares...I have heared them all...It sound best when places in a corner..It doesn't matter if it is in a small or large room it will fill your bass needs with out a doubt!!..If you are lucky enough to buy the 12 or the SW-15 don't let it slip by you ...YOU WILL REGRET IT! ...I only own Klipsch speakers and they are the only speakers I will ever own!!!

Strengths:
Superb Bass, Reliable

Weaknesses:
NONE

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $800.00 from Loca Dealer

Summary:
I have owned this sub for over five years and it has never
given a minutes problem.If placed correctly,near a corner,
it will provide all the tight ,low output you could ask for.
The 12" passive radiator reinforces the front firing 12"
woofer nicely ,I have never had to crank up the volume past
half-way for music or movies.Best if used with line level
input. You not only hear, but FEEL the bass during movies.Just
like a good subwoofer is designed for.Wish I had bought two
of them now.Best piece of electronic equipment I have ever
owned.

Strengths:
Output,power,solid well built product

Weaknesses:
none
