The KLH PSW8100 is a decent entry-level subwoofer. Bottom-firing with only 100 watts of power, the PSW8100 does not provide a significant amount of kick at the bottom end. However, for small rooms and budget systems, it does its job.
The bottom-firing speaker helps with small room spaces, especailly if one has hardwood floors or other reflective material. The sub does pop or crackle sometimes when cranked high, but anyone in the market for a low-end sub shouldn't need to worry about it. If you need to crank this all the way up, then you should've bought a more powerful sub. Strengths:
