Dynaudio SUB 500
1 Reviews
rating  5 of 5
MSRP
Description: The Dynaudio SUB500 reproduces deep bass with a natural yet powerful balance. Its incredible low frequency response is due in part to the new 30 cm (12") long-throw woofer developed for this model, which also features an extremely rigid die-cast aluminum frame, geometrically optimized for optimum air flow, a large diameter aluminum voice coil and a powerful magnet system.

Summary:
I choose tis sub over 2 other very good subwoofers. I was considering the Martin Logan Decent and the Rel Storm III. THis sub plays very deep and powerful. It's incredibly musical and accurate. I'm very happy with it's overall performance. The finish quality is also very nice. I got mine in Maple to match the rest of my Audience Maple speakers.

Strengths:
Deep low bass, very musical, built quality is top notch. Blends perfectly with my Dynaudio speaker package.

Weaknesses:
No manual adjustments on sub, everything is on the remote. If you loose the remote, you have no ability to control the sub.

Similar Products Used:
Rel Storm III, Martin Logan Decent.I have experience with many subs including B&W, Polk, Veloydne, Def Tech, Mirage, Boston, other Dynaudio sub.s etc
