Summary:
I needed a sub to augment a pair of Dynaudio Confidence 3's which already had an excellent low end response for bookshelf type speakers (30 hz). I decided to purchase a pair of the Dynaudio 250 subs which with their capability to match the 3's, greatly extended the low end output with deep clean bass that matched up with the 3's crossovers. The subs use a Dynaudio designed and built 10" driver in a very high quality wood veneer cabinet with comprehensive crossover flexibility and hookup connections and a 200 watt amp. With a sub for both left and right channels, the separation was improved as there is some differentiation of the bass signals for each channel, it also smoothed out the room accoustics a lot. These subs are very deep and clean sounding and can fill a large room with thundering sound if required. These subs are much more than a good sub just for video applications. Dynaudio is a high quality speaker manufacturer and has built a high quality, medium priced subwoofer here.

Strengths:
Clean, low end responce with plenty of punch. Quality of construction, finish and materials is tops.
