My thoughts are this sub is a generic version of a powered 15' Mackie or QSC at almost half the cost. I use it for the occasional gig but mainly for my home studio (electronic musician) and home theater set up. It's built rock solid and packs a tight punch. At it's price point it blows away any sub that I'm aware of. One of these will do a great job in a small room but for the price you could almost buy two for the price of one Mackie! Strengths:
Built like a tank! Solid low end and punch. It won't replace an 18' powered sub but what it does it does really well. A great bang for the buck. I'm very satisfied. Weaknesses:
