Summary: I have been searching for a subwoofer to match my aiwa z-m9300x component and i have found the ts-w60 form a local store here. The first thing that attracts me most is the price, for the unit with its power of 150W, it is really worth it. Aside from its price, this sub also have some nice feature like crossover control, auto on/off, and dual input type, either via rca or line input form left and right speakers.
When i first bought it, i was really excited to test how will it blend with my aiwa component. With some testing ang changing set-up, i finally get what i really wanted. The sub is really good in producing the low frequencies especially in movies as well as in music as well.
I dont know why some users complains about this unit, but in my case, i havent experience the problems that they have mentioned. Of course you cant expect a 20mm driver sub to produce something like a sub with 12" driver. it does make a difference but somehow, for a small room, this sub is really worth it.
Strengths: Great low frequency sound for its price, auto on/off is great, cross over control.
Weaknesses: None that i could think of.

Price Paid:
$40.00
from Ebay
Summary: I dont see why people give this a bad review either. i bought the unit refurbished on ebay for $40. i have it in a fairly large bedroom under a desk, and it works great, especially when its hooked to a good amp. delivers some nice extra punch.
Strengths: Loud, small & compact
Weaknesses: extremely loud in certain areas of the room, but in other places it can barely be heard (might be due to my placement)

Summary: I purchased it a week ago and it is really worth it. I used it with my aiwa z-d930M component system. The crossover control is really good for setting the frequency in which i want the sub to kick in.
hm i just wonder why some people give a not so good review with this product in which in fact, this product is really worth the penny. Maybe they just dont know how to configure it in-order to maximize the power of the sub-woofer.
Strengths: Excellent controls, good low bass sound.
Weaknesses: None that i could think of.

Summary: Stay away from this one. I got my money back just in time before the 90 day warranty ran out. There's a lot of reconditioned models like this, now I know why. Made in China like Coby, GPX and all the low quality stuff.
Strengths: Great sound and Features.
Weaknesses: Terrible quality.

Summary: I have recently had to repair the unit because of a bad chip board. i have taken apart thesub and have noticed that the subwoffer speaker itself is very good w/ a large magnet and rubber surrond instead of foam. yeah i have had to make repairs on the unit and it isn't the loudest in te world but it is still prety cheap and good for smaller areas. overall a good woffer speaker ok sound, some bad parts(in my unit), and inexpensive
Strengths: if placed right can sound great and inexpensive and good punchy sound. 120 watts isn't a bad thing either
Weaknesses: cheap quality (in my unit) can't do the super low sounds.
