Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $1299.00 from Adire

Summary:
I was look for a sub that can get loud in the 20-30Hz frequency, I am running KLF30 for my fronts and they do a very good job with bass as it is, so I was looking for the rumble instead of the boominess that alot subs do. Well I found, after about of week of watching movies this sub all of sudden came alive, I no longer have the gain on my QSC amp at max, it shakes the whole house and my neigbors >. This sub does not miss a beat with movies. Musically, I dont even notice its there, it blends very well with my Klipsch fronts. Finally a sub that sounds better than the movie theaters.

Strengths:
Excellent quality sub, extremely loud

Weaknesses:
kinda big

Similar Products Used:
Klipsch, Velodyne, Earthquake

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
