Strength:

nice bass for the size

Weakness:

noise from somewhere in the box at high volumes

It blew away similar priced subs in terms of performance when i bought it.

but then i started noticing some weird noise coming from inside the box. i opened it and tightened some screws. but a few weeks ago i started hearing the noise at high volumes, so i guess its time to open the box again.

awesome bass for an 8" sub.

Strength:

Looks good; Low Cost.

Weakness:

Not enough power; Bass is not low enough for it to be called a sub-woofer.

Not enough power; Bass is not low enough for it to be called a sub-woofer. I have heard 6 1/2" woofers go deeper and produce more bass than this sub. A subwoofer needs to be at least a 12" to produce good full base.
This sub may be good for small bookshelf or satellite speakers, but I have Advent floor speakers (not known for their bass) and could not tell it was hooked up.

Strength:

Small, looks nice

Weakness:

No bass!

There is very little bass from this sub. If your speakers are 6 1/2" or larger or if you room is 12' x12' or larger, it will not enhance your audio.
