Summary:
It would be very difficult to find a speaker that out perfoms this one. I have 4 Da Vinci's in my backyard accompanied by a seperate powered sub, also from StereoStone. The Da Vinci's are adequately powered by a Niles Si-1260 all controlled by a Denon 3806. It did take few days to properly place and calibrate the speakers for optimal sound. This outdoor setup would rival quite a few high end indoor systems in my opinion. The quality of sound out of the Davinci's is absolutely impressive for an outdoor configuration. What impressed me the most is that they sound as good at low volumes as they do turned up. They handle jazz as well as they handle Metallica. I have 2 more on order to fill my backyard. Definetly worth the money.

Quality and range of sound

Weaknesses:
Placement is crucial with these speakers. They put out more bass than any other outdoor speaker I've listened to, a complementing subwoofer really takes it up a notch.
