Cheap 8" 2 way speaker in a plastic enclosure that looks like a rock... somewhat. The price we paid ($650/pair) is just too much for 70 watt speakers, no mater what enclosure they are in. Looking for a replacement speaker for the one that blew, is nearly impossible due to the 4 ohm impedance. Most replacement components are 8 ohms. The speaker edges and enclosure backs are doused with RTV silicone to improve the water resistance. The speaker itself is a cheap looking metal frame... probably made in China... with a polypropylene surround. So basically, you're getting a $200 pair of speakers for $650. Never again!
