    Strength:

I have three of the 770 in the front, and I have to split the review up into two sections because RBH finally has a drop in replacement with their AMT tweeters. Original tweeters are Danish 9500 series silk diaphragm. This has a beautifully balanced sound with an incredibly smooth top end. The dual 6.5” reference drivers are astounding in image, accurate always civil, and can they ever thump. I am using one of the best receivers that Pioneer ever made, the VSX-59TXI. I believe it’s around 280 watts in 4 ohm. I have fallen in love all over again with my music library because you hear so much more detail. I had them set up with an old pair of JBL L5. It was laughable in a/b comparison. Gave them to the kids. They also have startling impact and speed. They don’t get below 70 Hz but they can pop you one the side of the head Enter the AMT style tweeter. Wow did the air and soundstage widen from wall to wall. They are a wonder upgrade, but the preference is like wine. Some like red or white. Neither tweeter config suffers.

    Weakness:

Not one thing. I have them on speaker stands. They look great.
