Price Paid:  $160.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
I've had these speakers for nearly two years and I could'nt be happier with them. I looked for quite awhile for my in-walls, (I'm very particular about my speakers). I found a number that I liked ok and alot that weren't very impressive. As usual the ones I liked most were more than I was willing to pay, (I had set a limit of $150). When I found these as an "out of box" set for $160 I thought I'd give them a try.
My initial test as with all that I tried was to see how well they would work as front mains before I religated them to rears as there final resting place. These much more than most sounded very good as front mains. I even considered for a time doing away with my current fronts and using these all around. I ultimately chose not to do that but I still believe that would have given me more than exceptable performance for video and decent music listening.
As rear speakers for Dolby Digital they are performing very well. They have a great combination of clarity and punch. I've never heard them overload and in my application they diffuse quite well.
I can recommend these without hesitation and the cost makes them a great value.
