Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Tweeter

Summary:
These speakers are perfect for anyone with a wife who can't stand the sight of front speakers sticking out of the wall or on the ground. I was amazed at the sound that these bad boys put out. After listening the the Polk RM6600 speakers, I was a bit upset when my wife decided I needed to get in-wall speakers. However, I spotted these at Tweeter, bought them and so far have no complaints. My current system is:

Yamaha RXV-800 A/V Receiver
Boston Acoustics Micro 90C Center Channel
Boston Acoustics Series 381 in-wall Front Spkrs
Boston Acoustics Micro 80x Surrounds
Polk Audio PSW350 Sub

I'll submit another review after playing with my new toys for about a month or so.

Strengths:
ease of installation, blends well into family room

Weaknesses:
none

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
