Surprisingly, I''m having a hard time comparing it to the Klipsch in-wall which cost lots more. Klipsch, off course, is clearer/louder/bassier but I do like the airy character of the Bic. Has anyone test AudioSources side by side with the Bic??? I recommend a sub woofer with 12" or 15" or an extremely good 10" (hsu?). Strengths:
Great value, 8" woofer, sweet high with beautiful sound stage, have glassy character, excellent install process (manual). Re: bass, when the right note is hit, it sounds round/warm and has beautiful paper cone character... Weaknesses:
Missing part of frequency in the midrange and high-bass area. However, due to the missing "cardboard box" range, the sound is very airy/glassy. I doubt if the design is intentional... Similar Products Used:
