Summary:
These speakers sound very good. I remember watching "The Goonies" and hearing the thunder and looked outside to see if it was raining. This is a 7 speaker system. Both left and right the bottom speakers are big subwoofers, the top two little speakers [left & right] sit on top of the subs. The lows go to the subs and the highs go to the top speakers. The center channel also has a built-in subwoofer. The two surrounds are switchable [two modes].

Strengths:
Sound, clarity.

Weaknesses:
Size - these speakers are big. The surrounds are 19 inches high. The center channel is 34 inches wide. Like I said, these speakers are big.

Cost. Expension at $4,000 plus tax.
