Review NaN of , from Austin, Tx, USA

Price Paid:  $480.00 from etronics.com

Summary:
This is the first stereo system I've owned with more than 2 speakers, but this home-theatre-in-a-box is great for me.

I put the Matrix in my DVD player and I gradually notice that it sounded very strange. The mids and lows were muffled and the subwoofer didn't seem to be doing anything at all. After about fifteen minutes of reading the user manual and walking through the configuration, bullets were whizzing past me at high speed and explosions were shaking my apartment.

The factory defaults for the receiver configuration are all wrong, but with a little tinkering, this system can be great.

Strengths:
The sound is beautiful. The price is right.

Weaknesses:
It takes some configuration before it will sound right.
