Bottom Line: Overall a very nice and balanced 5.1 setup. The sound is very clean and not overly thick on midrange as most of the lower end speakers are. Accuracy seems to be very good...although not as good as my old EPI TE-100's that I have lying around or my friends Energy bookshelf speakers. The sub is somewhat small but is definitely adequate for the target market. Honestly, this is probably one of the best speaker values I have ever come across. I would most definitely rank them with speaker systems typically costing upwards of $500.00 or more for a 5.1 setup. In my opinion most speakers (except for high end Polk, Infinity, etc) are far too overpowering in the mid-range....these speakers don't suffer from that problem at all. Mid's are tight and not too intrusive, highs are clean and accurate and the sub is definitely powerful enough for a small to mid sized listening area. Teamed up with my Onkyo reveiver, these are an incredible speaker value. I have yet to listen to anything that can touch them for the price point they come in at or even for several hundreds of dollars more.
