Bottom Line: Useless system. Waste of money. Not good with Onkyo tx-sr608 receiver. There is no detailed sound output with these speakers. The passive radiators are sounding horrible bass effect.

Bottom Line: I spent 4 months looking for a system that was worth it the money i wanted to spend, at the range of 500€>1000€, this Jamo S 608 were the best, i listen to KEF, Harmon Kardon, JBL, Pioneer, even the Jamo S 606 (lot of bass, lack of vocals and hifi sound), other brands and models, but the 608 were the best, good vocals, controled bass, guitar sounds like a guitar, a piano sounds like a piano... I paired this Jamo 608 with the Onkyo 608 amp (fornt speakers bi amp) and a Jamo sub 650 wich cost me 400€ (worth it every euro), there are people saying that with these speakers there are no need for a sub, i agree if its just to listen music, but for movies you need a GOOD sub, the jamo s 608 front speakers goes down a 42HZ, for me it´s not enough for movies, the Jamo sub 650 goes a deep quality 22HZ.
If you you are looking for a budget speakers system, go for the Jamo 608, if you don´t have the money, wait for one or two months, but don´t buy the Jamo 606, they don´t match the 608, the 608 sound more HIFI. Hope i helped.
