Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $250.00 from 2001. june

Summary:
It sounds really good, I like it much. The built-in amplifier is very good and powerful and the subwoofer kicks out the wall if I want. :)

Strengths:
Sounds good. Looks real good.

Weaknesses:
No remote controller, and it's only 4.1 not 5.1.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $200.00 from FutureShop Online*

Summary:
My brother first bought me a set of ATP3's for my birthday, and instantly I was hooked to their style, sound quality and overall 'minuature' foot-print! My dad was hooked as well, so we bought another set (both used for television speakers). For Christmas I bought the ATP4's online. Delivery cam very early, and they were well packed. The first thing I noticed was the sound of the Sub. The bass on the ATP3's seems much richer, and lower, where-as the 'cross-over' on the ATP4's seems to be much to high. I can easily hear the mids, and sometimes highs being thrown through the sub, causing horrible vibration and distortion. The sub also had troubles with the lower frequencies, often making odd buzzing noises due to vibration. It sounds like the characteristics of a blows sub-woofer, but they sounded like that from the day I got them! What a let-down :-(

Strengths:
-remarkable and eye-catching style and desing

-small foot-print

-bragging rights!

-LOUD SOUND from speakers with towers a mere centimtre thick!

-Easy instilation!

Weaknesses:
-Cheap sounding sub
-unable to produce deep sounds
-revolting rattling!
-terrible crossover, yes, you can hear a pin-drob, but from the sub! :-O
-NO fader or volume control for front v.s. rear output
-propratary connectors, wires 'fused' into bases of speakers.
-ABSOLUTELY way-too short cables for the rear channels (or at least in my case)

->I finally broke down and bought the Z-680's ($600.00 CAN). WOW, sleek design and insane power! A THX home-theatre system deguised as a pc audio system! Included lenghty cables, digital control-centre with all the codec, 5 speakers, 250 watt sub, remote control, mounting brackets, wires to connect to sound-cards, and 5 removable speaker grills. Expensive; yes. Worth $600, you better believe it! The first system to actual shake pictures of my wall! Absolutely incredable value, and remarkable power and sound quality! just *snap* and get the Z-680's!

Review NaN of , from Fremantle

Price Paid:  $100.00

Summary:
Great !! simply great !! the installation went without any problems and they looked major cool from in the box. When i first booted up the ocmputer with these plugged in i was expecting a lil sound without much clarity from the 6.5 longthrower sub. But when i chucked them on with a nice lil spl test i was majorly mistaken, i had to quickly chuck the bass down to halfway, cause the sub was shaking down my house :)) and the clarity of the tweeters is unmatchable. If u want Huge Sound from lil space go for these mother's. Or check out the Atp3's. Pretty much the same, but the sub aint as psycho LoL

Strengths:
Great Clarity from Satelites
Great Frequency Response from Subwoofer
Longthrower Sub, so dont worry about blowing it up LoL - it aint ur average lil 5quater inch cambridge sub

Weaknesses:
Dissapointing to see if u buy two sets of atp3s they will kill these :( and cost about the same. . . .

Similar Products Used:
Altec Lansing ATP3's - baby version. . .
