As caixas externamente são exoticas , seu acabamento em preto com seus woofers sem guarda pó em aluminio são altamente contrastantes e lindos.
tocando els impressiona por sua extensão de graves sem que haja muito trabalho por parte de sua unidade de grave .
Os médios são muito claros , altamente inteligíveis.
Os agudos são ótimos , limpidos.
Sua construção é muito robusta e confiavel, estas caixas pesma muitissimo oque se reflete em sua coloração musical quase nula.

Strengths:
Seu grave se destaca entre as caixas bookshefs que eu ouvi. Achei-a de façil posicionamento na sala.A rigidez de sua construção .

Weaknesses:
Exige amplificação autoritaria.
seu acabamento poderia ser em folha de madeira natural não em material que o imita.

Summary:
The drivers (mid range and woofer) in this speaker are among the best ever made - regardless of price. Unfortunately, the stock cross-over circuit severely limited the dynamic range and also hurt the musicality.

By placing a 10 microfarad polypropylene condensor in parallel over the electrolytic in the crossover, you GREATLY increase the dynamic range. This costs about $10 for parts!

Better yet, have Frank Knight build you a newly designed outboard crossover that takes advantage of the supurb Velodyne drivers. My 661 pair now sounds better than a $20,000 B&W - MUCH more revealing and musical. Makes the B&W sound like it has a veil in front of it.

Strengths:
EXTREMELY low distortion that results in reproduction of detail, transients, etc.

Weaknesses:
Cross over in stock condition, but see above.

Humble look. Very good detail sound. One of the best out there but Velodyne is no longer making them.
