Review 2 of 30

Price Paid:  $500.00 from J&R MUSIC WORLD

Summary:
come to think about it, I've owned these speakers for about 5 years now, and I've upgraded gears, but not these speakers. I'm actually running them with Rotel RTC 965, surround processor, and the rotel RB985 MK2, which is a multi channel amp, and recently upgraded to Audioquest Forest, speaker cables. I fell in love all over again with them, and could not believe, that after 5 yrs, they would still impress me. Greater deph, presence, imaging, was detected. It's no mistery that those speakers produce a generous amount of bass, but since the upgrade, the bass seems to be more focus, cleaner, and also a lot more extented. For the past year or so, I've auditioned a lot of speakers, and of course I did hear a lot of good or maybe better speakers, for a lot more money, but going back home and listening to the RTL3, they always seem to bring me a sense of comfort and a smile to my face. In other words they sound damn G O O D!!!!!!

Strengths:
Natural sounding speaker, exceptional bass not to overbearing, but their when you need it.

Weaknesses:
Too bad the company is out of business.

Review 5 of 30

Price Paid:  $125.00 from Second Hand

Summary:
bought these speakers fom somebody who didnt have room for them in his flat, i dont have roomfor them either really but i managed to squeeze them in, i bought them a year ago for 75 pounds, i knew it was a real bargain because I have heard TDL made some good speakers, as my mates dad owns some whopping 4ftX2ft TDL''s, these speakers however were bought to replace my Kef Coda 9.2 speakers, i now realise that if I was to sell them to a good enthusiast I could make a hell of a profit, considering they really are in top condition, everything is like new, they have only be used for a total of 2 years and they havent even been played constantly, these truly are very magnificent speakers i reccomend somebody start making these again............

Weaknesses:
none

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
