This product may look revolutionary, but it delivers the traditional holy grail hi-fi buffs the world over searh for: an analytical, technically quite restrained sound that also happens to be warm, dynamic and wholly involving. It is however quite fussy about partnering electronics; after listening to Naim, Meridian, Moon and Krell electronics I settled for C.D. and amps from Musical Fidelity - the a308 pre/power amps & the nu-vista 3-D C.D. Ironically this was probably the cheapest of all the matching electronics I listened to, but it created a beautiful synergy (cables: Nordost Red Dawn), and it doesn't hurt that they also have beautiful, mininalist styling. Everything sounds great, Chet Baker, Prodigy, Mahler, Donald Fagen -you name it. Strengths:
