Strengths:    Midrange to die for, powerful and tight bass, easy placement is the room.

Weaknesses:    Treble is good but not the best. Not the prettiest speakers around.

Bottom Line:
This speaker is simply amazing. The midrange is phenomenal, putting the performers right on my room and the bass is tight and powerfull. The treble is good but not the smoothest around. I tried also JMLab Diva Utopia with smoother treble and very good bass too, but dont have the magic midrange of the Tannoy.
Placement is easy in the room and putting the speaker near the rear wall is not a problem. I tried different positions and the best for my room is 80cm from the rear wall, 60cm from the side wall and 2,90m apart. I listen of 3,3m distance from the speakers.
My amp is the integrated Mcintosh MA2275 tube and this combination is fantastic, working great with all types of music (i listen alternative country, indy music and some jazz).

Strengths:    Room,Speed,Dynamic,Smoothness,Power

Weaknesses:    critical in the components you use with---only the best can match--you can`t use them with japanese standard electronics

Bottom Line:
With the ST200 Supertweeter on top and LFD Reference Silver Biwire Cable this speaker is very hard to best by any at any price.
Inredible room,perspektive,dynamic-close to a full loaded horn(Khorn maybe),incredible bass, smooth in classical music also, with a propper amp aside--I use ASR Emitter HD II Aku --the search for the full satifiying speaker for all kind of music has come to an end. There will be no need to go further.
