Review NaN of , from Durham, NH

Price Paid:  $120.00 from Yahoo! shopping online retailer

Summary:
This is a great set of speakers if you want a cheap to mid-level home theater. The sound from all these is great, but can get a little crappy when turned way up. The rears are small and produce a lot of sound for such small speakers. The value is so good that it forces the overall rating to a 5 when it probably should be a 4. They are far better than you'd expect for their price.

Strengths:
Great value, attractive, small rears

Weaknesses:
Power handling

Price Paid:  $199.00 from The Sony Store (price is in CND $)

Summary:
This is a great set of speakers. I have them matched up with sony ss-mf415's and it sounds great. I mainly use them for playing video games and watching movies so I can't really say how the preform with music. BUY THESE SPEAKERS AND PLAY MEDAL OF HONOR for playstation, crank the volume and guns sound like there going off in your room!!

Strengths:
Great sound, price, preformance.

Weaknesses:
Didn't find any yet.

Review NaN of , from Largo, FL, USA

Summary:
OK, I started out with JVC surround package, it sounded like...... well suffice to say I brought it back.
I then purchased an Onkyo receiver and received a pair of Sony mb105 bookshelves for free and was so impressed by the smooth sound I went out looking for more Sony's.

I found this package at REX, took it home, YUMMY, bright without being Tinny, and SMOOTH!!!
Especially the Center, Very Very Nice!!!

I would reccomend this to anyone NOT requiring Mind Numbing Volume, but istead looking for smooth sound ar an even smoother price.

Strengths:
Smooth Response, Crystal clear, somewhat uncolored highs, not to tinny, priced right.

Weaknesses:
..........well...... not much.....

Similar Products Used:
Sony mb105
JVC stuff

Review NaN of , from Jacksonville, IL USA

Summary:
Mikey hit the nail on the head. There just isn't anything else out there for the price that comes close in quality. Team them up with the 515's and you've got a superb system. I was a teeny bit dissapointed that the rear speakers were only 86db, but the center more than makes up for it, as I listened to center speakers costing $200 alone that didn't sound as good as the center in this $150 PACKAGE! Buy them with no regrets. I did, however, have a hard time tracking down a set, eventually finding them at Sears, of all places.

Strengths:
Price, design.

Weaknesses:
hard to find! Rears are only 86db sensitivity
