Review 1 of 1 Summary: The display at the local Wards store was impressive. I remember the first time I saw this system, I said Wow or Cool or something to that effect. The tall, long main speakers look rather contemporary, and they were a good match for my furniture. I finally bought the set when it was reduced to $400.
I have to say, I loved the way it looked. Being able to easily wall-mount the rear speakers was also a plus. So, I finally had the system, and it was looking good. Then I plugged it in...
Ugh. Movies sounded horrible. All I could hear was ear-piercing highs and a muddy "bass." The center channel was comparable to a decent TV speaker. To top it off, this system doesn't even have a built in AM/FM tuner.
We all make mistakes, and so have I...fortunately, throwing away the receipt was not one of them Strengths: looks decent Weaknesses: sounds horrible, the harshest-sounding system you could ever hear
