This is a beautiful speaker both in terms of construction, looks and sound. It is rock solid, plays very loud when asked to and is capable of great subtlety. I actually have two pair, one in my bedroom and one in my office and use them for a wide range of music, though I listen mostly to classical chamber music and a good deal of vocal (pop and classical.) These babies are outstanding for both, though of course are not capable of producing much low bass. Strengths:
Clear, warm, entrancing midrange that draws the listener into the music.
Silken highs.
Wide & deep soundstage
Beautifully and solidly constructed (just lift one up)
Capable of playing at both low & high volume
Don't require much power Weaknesses:
