Summary:
This is a beautiful speaker both in terms of construction, looks and sound. It is rock solid, plays very loud when asked to and is capable of great subtlety. I actually have two pair, one in my bedroom and one in my office and use them for a wide range of music, though I listen mostly to classical chamber music and a good deal of vocal (pop and classical.) These babies are outstanding for both, though of course are not capable of producing much low bass.

Clear, warm, entrancing midrange that draws the listener into the music.
Silken highs.
Wide & deep soundstage
Beautifully and solidly constructed (just lift one up)
Capable of playing at both low & high volume
Don't require much power
