Bottom Line: I have seen a few comments and am shockedm the many that have the song towers either have the dome tweeter version or the ribbon tweeter ,these are a exceptional value just look online speaker of the year shoot out as well as enjoy the music glowing review even at $3k these would be a great well balance loudspeaker that is great at imaging soundstaging as well as inner detail the bass is solid down to 40 hz and even has information into the 30s.The better the electronics the more you will be awarded .Some of these other guys
have so so equipment and these speakers wil not mask what is coming through you are only as strong as your weakest link. You will not get pounding earth quake bass ,but the bass you do get is tunefull and accurate .
the imaging is outstanding a lot of headbangers may not appreciate the accuracy, this is a speaker for a true Audiophile .I have spent well over a home on Audio in th past .These speakers are just supposed to hold me over while Salk is building me one of their top models .I am very happy for the tme being I have $20k in electronics and the speakers are not a weakpoint . Highly recommended .p.s The hand finished veneers are OUTstanding and made in the U.S.A !!

Bottom Line: I own a pair of the Salk SongTower QWT in a beautiful Hawaiian Koa wood finish. These speakers provide a wide soundstage with excellent imaging. The bass is solid down to below 40 hz, the midrange is excellent and the treble response is very good. These speakers deserve the positive reviews and awards they have received. The quality of the wood finish is among the best in the industry, as good or better than many much more expensive speakers.

Bottom Line: I liked the song tower but thought that it was expensive for what one received. I will say that it holds it's resale value.I think that there are better sounding speakers out there for the money. Do your research and beware of recommendations from dealers, read between the lines and don't get caught up in a running excitement. (remember av123) The salk is a good speaker and a good company, but for the money there are other great and less costly speakers.

Bottom Line: Nice speaker, but for the cost I feel there are better ones out there.I know that they are hot now as is most of their products. The company is very good and great to talk with and they give good service which is a big plus.Don't misunderstand,I think they are good, but again alot of money for what is given.
