Summary:
I bought these because I needed a replacement to my Mirage M1si wich I used together with M5si and a Miragecenter. They were to big when I moved to a new place. Together with the gems I also bought the Voice center and the Embrace surrounds. I didn´t buy the Revel sub since I already had a velodyne sub. The first thing that I noticed were that It didn´t sound that impressing. These really need some time before the mature.
It actually took a couple of months before I was really satisfied, but after that something happened.

The breakin period were extremely long but the sound I got after it were amazing. Together with the other speakers and alone they sound just in one word "amazing". They sounded much more detailed than the Mirage and also more dynamic. Maybe not as fat but more real than the M.Compared with other speakers I´ve heard there´s nothing like the Gems, even though there are probably other speakers in the Gems pricerange that sounds as good but I haven´t heard any.

I can only give the Gems the Highest possible rating and I will never sell them. I also give the Revel surround setup the same rating.

My equipment I combine with the Revels are Proceed 5channel amp, Meridian 861 processor and Theta David DVD.

Strengths:
They sound as great as speakers should do!
They look great!

Weaknesses:
Maybe price
