Summary:
Sonic brilliance, detailed, refined and expresive in vocals.The Quadral Base 2 100Watt centre speaker is excellent in mid-range home theatre. It still suprises me since the day i purchased it.
Quadral, a brand a just only heard of is up there with the big-boys.
Damn easy to drive with smaller amps too.

Worth auditioning indeed...

Summary:
I went shopping for a centre speaker and had a listen to a Jamo 90 watt centre speaker, then I compared it to a Quadral (a name I had never heard of before) 100 watt centre speaker and it certainly sounded a lot better. I watched Jurrasic park and they both sounded good during the action scenes and then during dialogue with no other noise the Quadral came out way in front. I have had it now for 6 mths and it is still impressing me, especially with dialogue in movies (which I think is very important for a centre speaker to be able to reproduce).
