Bottom Line: I personally think PSB T8 is the best price speaker in the market for the price range too bad it is no longer available, it much better than Gold i that i have it for over 10 years, Bass it tight and full, voice is holographic and deep soundstage, and floor shaking 20hz
My next up grade will Wilson Audio Maxx2 or 3.
But will keep PSB T8 for home theatre.
equipment using:Krell FPB600,cinepro 3K6,Anthem AVM30, Aesthetix pre and phono, VPI Classic/dyna XX2MK2
Sony SCD-XA9000es. Harmonic magic link2 IC and PRO SE cable, NBS IC, Cardas IC, all XLR, except sony RCA.
weakness: Just enjoy hours and hours of music and movies ,additive.

Bottom Line: Highly disappointed. They look impressive and get good reviews however they are way too bright in the midrange and highs and sadly lacking in the bass department. Even with my Bryston 4B amp and both tube and solid state pre-amps they sound artifical and cheap. My $1200 NHT 2.5i sound much better overall.

Bottom Line: I'm Canadian and let me tell you I love Canadian Stereo products. Paul, you hit the mark with these speakers. I purchased both the Gold and Goldis and loved their sound.
Most important, I totally respected their ability to wake up at 100 watts rms.
To be totally hounest I sold them only to find a speaker with (what I though was a better midrange). Well let me tell you, I though I found them until I demode the Platnium T8s. I'm most impressed with these speakers.
I'm running them with a Bryston 14bsst and let me tell you ,I will not look for a better matched pair.....period.
Buy these speakers if you want the very best in sound.
