Well I stumbled across them in the classifieds and went to see if they were still there. Yup. So I looked reviews up and didn’t see any negatives that I could t deal with especially in the thousand dollars and less range. They sound awesome. Boom! Hooked up to an old Sony STR-DB845 and gave away my former front pair to a friend. Was a win - win for us.

If a speaker get blown, torn, punctured or otherwise damaged one cannot simply go to the local speaker builder / repair shop and have them repair or replaced. PSB uses a type of speaker housing that only they can supply so one is compelled to pay full retail pricing for any replacement that may be needed. I found out from my speaker builder guy. Luckily for me the cone had become unglued before I bought them. It was either an inexpensive fix or would’ve been well over a hundred bucks for the one that was sounding bad. Unknown what model year they are.

Yes i am happy to Be the first one who rewiew those standfloor ,initially they're been drived whith a denon 700ae succesfully and yes that overblown bass fact to what hi fi manage to moove deep the bass woofers ,whith an realistic scene schakefloor &walls ,IT need couple thousands hours to open the sound ,Perhaps IT needed an more powerful amp Cuz they re rated at 200w (real not rms!) So i boughted an nad356 bee ,i nodest an improvement in bass management whit thight fast response.These are speakers good for rock -electronic music ,good response whith simphonic,Perhaps a Little bit constrain stage ,but whith Nice highs ,note that the mids are separate betwen midbass woofer and mid high woof ,If u want a more more open sound go whith cabasse for ex ,but If u like a neutrality to open whith realistic and a Nice separation betwen voices and instruments i recomand IT ...Also i recomand an powerful tight fast bass amp to drive at maximum those powerful standfloor ...
