, from CANADA Summary: The Mite is minute in size but sounds larger than it is.This speaker needs to be cut off around 80-100Hz using the cross-over in a sub or set on "Small" in the menu of any sourround reciever. When the lowest notes are removed the midrange sounds quite good and the speaker can play quite loud.
I used the Mite with the Onkyo TX-DS676 reciever and the results were great.I could make the tiny Mite sound congested and spit its insides but only at very high volumes(remember high for this kind of speaker).I used the Mites with a Klipsch KSW-12 sub.The result was good.
Then I mounted the Mites on heavy high quality stands(cost many times more than the Mites)and connected them to my Celeste 4250SE power amp.The sound was better(well I hoped so too)but the Mites could only play well at low volumes(no bass cut this time).I used the Mites with the Sunfire Junior sub with good results.
Of course most of those who purchase this type of speakers will use them with cheapo recievers. The Mites should give good results as long as you set them to "Small" to filter out the bass.
Great product,at a great price.

Overall considering the price its a 4(I like the Paradigm Atom more and its about the same price) Strengths: Ok midrange and highs.Great sound if used with a small PSB sub that takes care of anything below 100Hz.Outstanding price/performance ratio. Weaknesses: Build quality(well what do ytou want from a speaker as inexpensive as this one? Similar Products Used: Paradigm Atom,Micro Energy Take 5 sats
