Bottom Line: I am as some could say a casual listener, but i love loud music of all types. when i was in 5th grade, i spend $750 on a new pair of klipsch rb-81s. as they are great speakers i love old big speakers. one day i was in goodwill and saw these speakers for 50 dollars. I bot them hooked them up, turned up the bass and the trebble and WOW! these sound so much better than my expensive klipsch speakers. i hear all the trebble and voice clearly. and the bass on these things is amazing. to me they sound studio quality. ive never had so much satisfaction from a speaker. I am about to get my 1t-12s fixed so then ill have something to compare them to. I am a csg303 finatic. if you see these, BUY THEM you will be impressed, when i got them most of the dustcaps were dented and they didnt look good, but they sound amazing!

Bottom Line: these speakers are pretty good for what you pay, have a nice mild tone not to much trebel. 12" woofer has decent bass and good power handling. i have these set up with two other pioneer cs-g7000 and together it get very loud and sounds great. if ya can get these for less than 100$ then these are great speakers...

Bottom Line: I work with electronics and speakers and I am not going to give a good rate for those speakers. Very big lack of bass for pioneer speakers with 12" woofers. They are very nice looking speakers and thats is about it. If you are looking for good sound those are not the speakers for you. They are more for highs. If you give them a little bit more bass you can hear how they can't handle it. I will recommend pioneer CS-G403 with the 16" woofers, they sound much better!
