Strengths: pounds ass
cheap
broke my bandpass box
cracked open my hatch on my explorer
and also on my probe GT
made my rear view mirror fall off of my explorerWeaknesses: made out of paper material
damage to vehicle...Bottom Line: I bought two Orion XTR 3's in a bandpass box off of a friend about 3 and a half years ago for 280.00. They been through three cars now, and it has been my favorite sounding system ever. Pushing it, is a 300 watt JBL monoblock amp, bridged at 2 ohms pushing 300 watts per channel. The only problem, after 3 yrs of pumping bass, is that the subs destroyed the composite "pressed" wood in the bandpass breaking the screws through. I want to build a custom sealed box, but i need help with dimensions for the box, how much cubic feet do i need to get the max bass out of these subs? If anyone knows what the reccommended dimensions are, can you e-mail me with them? Thanx!!

Strengths: deep,clean bass
efficientWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: I have 4 XTR3 dvc 10" in a custom bandpass enclosure. I am pushing them with an orion HCCA 250(50x2@4ohms or 100x1 @4 ohms) but i'm running it at 1/2 ohm(800 watts). I have competed all over ohio and PA.I have reached over 150dB. That says alot for a 150$ speaker.
