Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Description: Neat weave thier magic again,no thrills,no boom n tizz boxes, just pure sweet unadulterated music, burst forth from these wonderful little speakers.

For a floorstander, they take up remarkably small amounts of real estate, and look very cute, are come beautifully built in real wood finishes,to suit al types of home decors.

So,they look good, and they sound good too, stick a Naim,Sonneteer,or Exposure amp on the little babies and they will truly sing, the soundstage is huge, but what is pe¡resented before you is realxed, polite and thoroughly engaging, bass is well balanced, with no booming or sloppy bottom end, midrange,is laid back and polite,so the music isn't forced upon you in a unatural way,and the treble isn't obvious,it just sounds sweet, and gets on with the job, this is a music lovers speaker, not a speaker to impress the nieghbours or the local boy racers brigade, sit back, enjoy, and let the sound of the motives captivate you!!

Strengths:
looks,build,sound,musicality

Weaknesses:
prefer the tweeter on the Neat Elite SE

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
