Review NaN of , from Vancouver,B.C.

Summary:
Excellent with all kind of electronics.
I love them as they resolve at low volume
and I like late night listening and live in an apartment. Very even 8 ohm load, so great with tubes.I'm using them with an Audio Research Classic 30 which gives them more bass than I ever thought they had, which allows me to use them further away from the back wall, this resulting in an awesome wide and deep soundstage. This is an inexpensive high end speaker without deep base. I use them with a Rega Planet, Creek OBH12, A.R. Classic 30, Wireworld Polaris and Oasis interconnects and speaker cable.

Strengths:
Soundstaging, musicality, very revealing yet smooth, excellent at low volume

Weaknesses:
low bass

this small speaker does not go down very low

Review NaN of , from Chicago, Ill. USA

Summary:
I use four of these for my surround speakers, I have not heard so much detailed sound coming from bookshelf speakers like these. They are a perfect fit in my home theater setup.

Strengths:
Great sounding speaker, has bi-wiring capabilities to get the best from the speaker

Weaknesses:
None

Review NaN of , from San Francisco, CA

Summary:
If you see these on eBay, get them.

I own these and the 10i Pearl Edition versions. The Classics have deeper cabinets, matched drivers and components, and better components in the xovers.

Here's a little, cheap trick: Place a 1uv Kimber Kap (wellbourne.com has 'em) bypass cap in parallel with the two fine Bennic (I think, if I remember correctly) caps in the crossovers . Break these in, and they are warm, dynamic, and actually have bass that's incongrous with their dinky size. Nice imaging, too.

In short, for the admission price, very good.

Strengths:
Mids, Musicality

Weaknesses:
Need appropriate amplification

Review NaN of

Summary:
These speakers are specially refined version of Music Series, traditional, furniture like cabinet with real Rosewood Veneer. If you are "discriminating listener", these speakers are best fit. These speakers have a clean crisp treble. the midrange is neutral, clean and transparent. The bass is excellent for a comparable bookshelf speakers. From my point of view, these speakers are the best bookshelf speakers under $1000.System:
Golden Tube SE40SE
Golden Tube SEP1 preamp
MIT cables throughout.

Review NaN of

Summary:
One of the best bookshelf speakers under $1000. Great speaker for all genre of music, with slightly warm sound. Some may find that treble extension is slightly short, it will match well with bright amplifiers. This 10i Classic hits lower frequency (yet controlled) than most bookshelf speakers found in this price range. Well worth the extra $ over the perls. Must give a listen if you are looking for budget hi-fi speakers.Speakers compared:
JM Labs Micron Carat **
B&W CDM2SE (this may be a slightly better choice if you prefer clarity and superb midrange) *****
Mission 750LE ****
Mordaunt Short 10i pearl ****
PSB Stauratus Mini ***
