Review 2 of 6

Summary:
I recently purchased these speakers from a private dealer, and boy was I shocked when they arrived...the size od these things are immense (1400mm)

They are very good indeed for Home Cinema, With terminator 2 and Aliens pumping out suspence and action the missions are happy to oblidge with an encompassing sound.

Its a shame these things are soo big, and yes, they do need a large room to operate, but I dont regret buying them. I hate having to shove them into my small room, crushing the sound a bit, but its not such a problem with Home Cinema sound, its more the music that needs the big room.

I know that with a powerful 2channel amp these are very good indeed...

You can view my HT setup at :

Strengths:
Excellent Bass, nice, tight treble. Looks, prominace.

Weaknesses:
Size, soooo very tall, power hungry.

Similar Products Used:
Mission 773e's.

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $720.00

Summary:
You can't get anything similar for this price. Their sound is crystal clear and powerful, but you need a real amp to drive the 705. They draw tremendous amounts of current at high bass levels.
The bass response is very good, lots of tight, deep bass. Don't even think of a subwoofer! Midrange response is also outstanding, it works in its own vented enclosure. Treble: perfect, not too bright.

They perform superb with modern music (rock, dance,..) The ideal speakers for DJs at home, they reveal the slightest mismatch im mixing. I can't rate them for classic and jazz.

Unfortunately they're discontinued now (i think they are too big, 140 cm height but same power handling as the 704). Go and get a pair as long as they remain available.

Strengths:
Deep powerful bass, very nice balanced, high power handling, Price!

Weaknesses:
none.

Review 4 of 6

Summary:
I have this speakers for almost a year now and still amazed!
The huge bass response makes me shiver every time when i watch the good old Terminator 2! :) Also when playing music they are great. good detail altough the treble is somewhat "soft" but the midrange is very good. Overal these "babies" :) are great performers. I love them!!

Strengths:
HUGE bass response! Great for dance, trance and chemicals. Also handling on high power is great. No distorsion at all.

Weaknesses:
Treble could be a litter better in my point of view.

Review 5 of 6

Summary:
What a differnce between 704 and 705.Both has the same watt power and almost thefrequnce range(705 has 30 - 20000Hz and 704 has 35 - 20000Hz), but when
you look on them the 705 has one more bass unit and their price is about
3/2 of 704.The 704's bass sounds at high powers powerful and clear. The 705's
two bass units work each unit about on 1/2 at full power. It very minimizes the high levels bass distortion. The bass is incredible. The fenomenal clarity and
accuracy, tremendous dynamic and power even on deep 30Hz.Totaly forget on
bass booming. These are words I sayabout 705's bass.
For this price I would not do better buy than 705.

The sound up the bass will allow you to enjoy all the types of music how
it is possible.Midrange full of energy and beauty with sweet detailed trebles.
Stereo sound stage is great.I think a small differnce of 705 from other
loudspeakers is that at 705 doesn't matter on volume.

Built quality goes with sound quality.Take care when you place them in the room.
Bad placement in room can hardly affect the sound quality.

I think there will surely be other people such happy with Mission 705 as me,
you could be one of them.I give them 5 stars and if it would be able 6 for their
bass.

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
