Review NaN of , from Toronto

Price Paid:  $165.00 from Brack

Summary:
Using 4 OM-R2's for the surround and rear -center speakers in a 7.1 system. Replacing 2 Mirage 260's. Chose these over the Mirage Omnisat speakers for better dynamic range and for a more "omni" effect even though these are not omni-directional speakers like the Omnisats. Positoned at ceiling level at the side and rear of the room, these seem to really fill the room. Timbre a better match for my M-3 main speakers and center channel speaker as well.

Strengths:
Smooth through entire range. Toimbre matched to existing M-series speakers.

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Compared to Mirage Omnisats. Replacing Mirage 260's.

Review NaN of , from Leominster, MA.

Price Paid:  $499.00 from Tweeter

Summary:
Replaced my 4 year old Mirage m-90's after listening at a local retailer. Those who dont think omnipolar will make a difference with the surround channel need to sit down and listen for a few minutes. The difference is unbelievable. I run a OMC3 center and M595 fronts and couldn't be happier with the sound of these speakers. Five stars!!!

Strengths:
Spacious sound, omnipolar, and match my other Mirage speakers.

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
Klipsch KSS1, Mirage M-90i's

Review NaN of , from Ewa Beach, HI, USA

Summary:
excellent for surround speakers in DD, DTS and 5ch stereo.
with the rest of the Mirage OM line (OM-10 and OM-C2 and BPS-150) it creats a diffuse and spacious sound for both music and movies. I have got these moutned on the rear wall close to the ceiling about 3-4 feet from the sidewalls and they provide an enveloping sound for music and movies. I would not even consider directing radiating speakers for the rear any more, omni-polar/bi-polar is the way to go. Excellent value for the money.

Strengths:
spacious sound and wall mounting to save floor space.

Weaknesses:
Poor wall mounting design won't allow flat placement, it leans downwards slightly.

Review NaN of , from Cincy

Summary:
These speakers have been outstanding for both music and movies, especially DD and DTS. I have them mounted on the rear wall because I did not have space on the sides, and they work perfectly. They are very detailed. Front to rear effects are performed with unmatched precision. They are a nice step up from the very good MBS series. Highly recommended.

Strengths:
Great sound and spaciousness!

Weaknesses:
Poor mounting system - back of speaker will not easily lie flush with the wall.

Mirage MBS

Review NaN of

Summary:
Excellent speaker for home theater. It's paired with Rogers main speakers and Mirage center speaker OM-C2, and amplified by a Yamaha 2095. Delicious! Highly recommended.
