Review 2 of 3

Summary:
I bought this center channel speaker to match my mirage FRx-Ones and am very happy with it. It is technically not the matching center for the FRx-Ones, but it sounds great with them anyway. It has great highs and lows and plenty of power. I cannot envision myself wanting to get another center channel speaker until it goes to center-channel-speaker-heaven. I also got it as an open-box buy and thus got a good deal on it. Highly recommend!

Strengths:
Sound, value

Weaknesses:
None

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
This is a great center channel speaker. Voices are excellent especially in musicals (the mother's voice on Fiddler on the Roof is incredible). Action movies have inpact.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
