Bottom Line: These are very hard to find (no one wants to sell theirs), but well worth the search. I traded in a pair of XR1052's, that are very nice sounding, but the XR250's provide a noticeable improvement. Setting them up is easy, just place them near the wall. Yet they have a very wide sound stage. Voices are amazingly clear, and they will produce accurate deep bass down to a true 20 Hz, unlike a ported design. Musical details you never noticed before are revealed with these speakers. Being 8 ohms, these speakers are very efficient and don't require a lot of power. I wouldn't be surprised if these speakers outperformed many big name high-end speakers in a blind listening test. For what these speakers cost and the incredible sound they produce, the XR250's are a true bargain.
