Bottom Line: Summary
One of the best speakers out there.
A unique sound, full bodied, precise (soundstage, position) and a sense of the respective volume of each other.
Deep bass, full mediums, aerial highs that create a life like event, with air around and a palpable notion of space.
Strengths
Full bodied sound
Wide and clean dynamic
No limit in the upper range
Real life instruments volume, soundstage, and ambiance.
No fatigue after hours of listening
No coloration, each event is different
Weaknesses
Not easy to drive (81dB), extremely revealing for every component. Good fit with MBL mono amps (9008-9011).
Omnidirectional technology makes it less punchy than some HP based systems
Not cheap but quite reasonable compared to the others in the top league

Bottom Line: It´s the best loudspeaker I ever heard, it sound like Wilson Audio Alexandria or the Kharma´s but with omnidirectional sound. I think of it like the best loudspeaker in the World

Bottom Line: The sound is the finest and most life-like I have heard from any system. These are the best sounding loudspeakers I've owned. They play more coherently and cleanly than any speaker I've heard.
The 101 Es have the best treble, midrange, low and low end I've heard from any loudspeaker. They sound in three dimensional space as with no other loudspeaker in my experience. The 101 Es sound great with any music: classical, jazz, soul, rock, chill out....in my experience they are the best loudspeakers of the World like no other.
