Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $450.00 from Hempel Sound

Summary:
Excellent buy for money. They look and sound briliant. Cabinet work is imaculate, cannot find a problem anywhere. As for sound, excellent. These speakers perform very well on their own as well as part of a home theater. You cannot go wrong with these speakers. Well done Krix

Strengths:
Supurb amount of bass from a 6 1/2" bass driver, tweeter (like in all Krix speakers) is brilliant, cabinet work is one of a kind. These speakers are more like furniture and the music is just a bonus.

Weaknesses:
I'm trying so hard but... nope!

Similar Products Used:
Majority of Krix products and some Canton's.

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
I have had these speakers for about 6 months now. I have been tremendously happy. Nice soundstage, great imaging, smooth detail. I auditioned B&W, PSB's, NEAR, Energy, and several others. It came down to a choice between PSB and the Krix. I went with the Krix because the speakers were much more asthetically pleasing then the PSB's and were very much the equal in sound. I will have these for a long time in my system.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
