Strengths:    good bass response, sounds great w/dvds

Weaknesses:    none to mention

Bottom Line:
I picked my klipsch km-6 (same as kg 5.5's) for 50 dollars at a pawnshop because they thought the sub was blown because they rattled, but it was only slightly unscrewed so it made a small buzz at high volume. I have used these speakers primarily for watching dvd's and have found them to be sufficient enough not to need a sub for extra bass. Even if i had bought them new for full price I would still consider them a bargain.

Strengths:    excellent sound and build quality

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
I purchased the Klipsch KMC to add a center speaker to my father's old Klipsch KG4's. The first thing I noticed was that it is taller and shallower than other center speakers. However, the build quality is first rate, and the sound is dynamic, clean, and detailed. And with its horn-loaded tweeter, the KMC blends seamlessly with the KG4's. Highly recommended with appropriate L/R speakers and a powered subwoofer.

Goto www.vanns.com to buy this product. I went to the store and bought it for $100. It's a Montana-only store, but you can order it from them.

Strengths:    Well-built (solid), adjustable aim, 300 watt peak, clear highs, gold plated binding posts, under $100

Weaknesses:    I guess you could say it lacks bass, but what do you expect from 5.25" woofers

Bottom Line:
Klipsch quality for under $100. Features two 5.25" woofers and a 1" horn tweeter. 75 watts RMS.

This center channel speaker is a nice match for basically any system that has bookshelf speakers for the mains. It has crystal clear highs, sometimes a bit bright, smooth mids, and not a whole lot of bass (down to 75 Hz). Good sensitivity (92 dB). It has a crossover frequency of 1600 Hz (same as the matching 70 lb floor standing km-6's), weighs 13 lbs., and is video shielded (naturally). Dimensions: 6.75" high, 20" wide, 6.625" deep.
