Summary: Very nice speakers. Great tweeters very natural sound. They go great with my KG1.5 rears. A great sounding speaker with a sub.
Strengths: Great mids and highs. Nice boxes and construction.
Weaknesses: Needs a sub for movies.

Summary: These are very good speakers. But I must say that they are not good for mains. The highs are very high. There is little low response which is understandable for 5 1/2" drivers. But brightness is what I want for surrounds for which these speakers are perfect.
Highly efficient, these will go loud. Had to turn the surrounds down to stay with the B/A mains I had. (You think klipsch is bright, try some Boston Accoustics) This changed when I purchase some klipsch RF-5s.
They really excel in a home theater situation. Like most newer systems, they like to be coupled with mains that respond well to mids and highs, coupled with a powered subwoofer. The highs cuts through extremely well but doesn''t make it presence known.
Strengths: Excellent low priced surround speaker (not a good main). These will be keepers for a long time. Great value even new.
Weaknesses: This is not a main. Don''t even think about it. You will be extremely disappointed.

Summary: Just wanted to update my last post. After experimenting more with position, I found the bass in these speakers. They are very sensitive to position.
The bass does seem deeper than any other speaker of it's size that I've listened to, but I believe it's lacking in realism. It's loose and inaccurate, but not offensive for most listening.

Summary: I really didn't like these speakers when I got them, but I experimented with placement, and found that all I needed to do was aim them out about 10 degrees - most of the harshness goes away, they sound much more transparent, and the sweet spot is much larger. They also sound better the further I can get from them.
They will eventually be used as surrounds when I find a good deal on KG4's.
Strengths: Excellent music power. Accurate for the pricerange.
Weaknesses: Compared to the KG2, they are harsh and lack bass response. The soundstage is non-existent, and they are FAR from transparent.

Summary: Upon tearing them apart, i found just a little shoddy workmanship inside where the integrated driver panel screws in to the two pieces of support inside the cabinet. It seems they missed the hole a few times in the hurry they were in. strike one. they also forgot to glue in the bass tube in one cabinet....strike 2. First of all I am a firm believer in "Let's build this thing to last at least 127.5 years before that screw neeeds tightend up." c'mon klipsch, get it together and glue and screw! It doesn't matter what they look like inside, It's the guts we like to look at. Just the little things that make the difference i guess. Crossover looks nice and well done. nice job on the integrated plastic driver/crossover/front panel. These are cool little speakers that shine bright and clear and although i tore them to pieces, i still like them. p.s they look much nicer in walnut finish.
Strengths: These speakers are good sounding , Impressive for size, Neat little speakers. kg 2.2 fin. blk is proper name. (for mine)
Weaknesses: Placed next to a pair of Mcintosh xr5's .......Ohhhhh what a difference. have to shut the klipsch off to enjoy the sweet mac's..It's almost like taking the earplugs out when the Mac's come online. The little klipsch just dont have the gusto or range to compare. Sorry little guys, have to shut you off for now. (AND THE MAC'S ARE 25 YEARS OLD)
