Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Want Ads

Summary:
Incredible speaker......and very very rare. I got a great deal on this speaker and it will never leave it's home on top of my TV.
This speaker matches my Quartets perfectly and makes for a seamless front stage in my home theater system.

If you can find one of these beauties......you better grab it as they don't come around too often.

Strengths:
power handling, build quality, matches my Klipsch speakers perfectly

Weaknesses:
come on........as if any Klipsch speaker has any of these

Similar Products Used:
Klipsch KV-3

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Audioworks

Summary:
This Is a faantastic speaker. I just wish the horn was mounted the other way. I was told this speaker was designed to be used for left right and center in a matched array so the horn was put horizontal when standing upright It is a good enough speaker to function as a main but I doubt too many are used this way. Anyway It still sounds great and matches my fortes very nicely.

Strengths:
Efficiency, Match for heritage series Klipsch, Good Sound

Weaknesses:
Horn is not mounted horizontaly when laying down.

Similar Products Used:
Nothing was even close at the time but the c7 is said to be comprable

Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $220.00 from a good freind at Klipsch.com

Summary:
Ive had this center for about 6 months now, and needless to say its such an amazing speaker!
I gave up H/T for a while, i had 4 kg 5.5s, ksc-c1 center, and ksb-s1 rear!
I lost it all due to a new addition to the family, now im back with 4 cornwalls,Front and rear, academy center, rockford fosgate 2 10 inch subs, on a pyramid 2 channel amp bridged!
Just bought the harmam kardon AVR 120, ill post the reviews when it gets in there, so far, i couldnt go wrong on this unit!
It has such solid sound!
Other than the sub, i wouldnt own anything other than Klipsch, maybe SVS, when the time comes!

Strengths:
Very full, and solid. Excellent choice for a center channel!
One of the most sought after center channels out there!

Weaknesses:
Size could be, if some one didnt want one this big

Similar Products Used:
Ksc-C1 center, also was very nice, but not big enough for 4 cornwalls!

Review 4 of 8

Price Paid:  $200.00 from now defunct audio store

Summary:
I have two of these speakers and they have been given just about the most difficult test possible. I was unaware that they were meant to be used as a center channel, so they've been used as the main speakers for about eight years now. Try that with just about any other center channel and you will understand just how good these speakers are. They can be driven at high volumes playing music heavy in bass(mostly techno) for long periods of time without any trouble what so ever. Yet at the same time they are also detailed and accurate enough to be used for classical music. Voices are reproduced superbly, obviously a neccesity for a center channel, and explosions are handled with aplomb. You can throw just about anything at these speakers and they will just throw it right back at you and ask for more. Unfortunately they are no longer manufactured so it will be neccesary to find them used. Durability shouldn't be much of a problem either. Mine have been living in a house with four teenagers for their entire life, so that should give some idea of how durable they are. Speakers don't come much better than this, and for the price you will find nothing even similar.

Strengths:
You will have difficulty finding a more dynamic powerful speaker out there. Because it is such an efficient speaker it is very easy to drive, even for the weakest amps.

Weaknesses:
Isn't great for the deepest bass, and the magnetic shielding could be better.

Similar Products Used:
Nothing close enough to even consider similar.

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $200.00 from WANT ADS

Summary:
I bought this center channel through the want ads after trying the Bose routine. This is WITHOUT DOUBT - the BEST center channel on the market. The degree of realism in DVDS and music ( 5 channel stereo ) is unmatched in todays marketplace. If you can find one - get one - because you won't get mine !

Strengths:
Incredible realism to vocals and soundstage

Weaknesses:
larger than most centers - works nicely for big screens though

Similar Products Used:
Bose, Other Klipsch center channels
