Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $160.00 from online

Summary:
this center channel works great if you want crisp detailed voices and action...the explosions...dialogue...are loud and very efficient...making them sound extremely real...they are able to handle sound peaks with ease without distorting what so ever...my friends come over to watch movies all the time...varying from comedy...action...and foreign films...they all sound great through this center channel...you can't go wrong with this affordable center channel...although you won't get the big name brands with the speaker...you will however get the big sound at less then half what you pay for other brands

Strengths:
simple great looks...crystal clear...high power handling...affordable...low profile

Weaknesses:
not a big name brand....but its the sound that really matters!

Review 2 of 11

Price Paid:  $70.00 from fred meyer

Summary:
I owned the 941 center for awhile and was very satisfied with its performance. in my opinion you probably will not find a better center channel speaker for under $200. I needed to return mine in order to better match my fronts, but I will consider this model for a system I plan to get for my hearing-impaired mother (not deaf, just can't decipher dialogue from the tv speakers). the klh 941 will pierce the air with crystal clear vocals, and for under a bill, what more can you ask?

Strengths:
crisp, clear vocals, wide dispersion, small so you can stick it just about anywhere

Weaknesses:
only when compared with my current psb center which cost three times more

Similar Products Used:
bose, jbl, polk, psb, acoustic energy, b&w, revel

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $80.00

Summary:
I really like the look vs. the boxy veneer models. Sound is very good. I'm not sure people complain about bass on a center channel. These speakers are designed to accurately reproduce human voice, not bass drum sounds.

Strengths:
Great look and sound + low price.

Weaknesses:
A D is weak.

none

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00 from best buy

Summary:
Ive been soured on the klh name in the past, due to bad purchases in my neophyte days, but this speaker actually caught my attention from halfway across the store. I had been in the market for a better center channel speaker for about three months, i was using a jbl at first, but then moved up to an infinity, but still wasnt satisfied. both these speakers cost me in the 300-400 dollar range. for $100.00 there was no thinking about it. this speaker is comparable to many "salon" speakers costing many times more.the only complaint i had was vocals seemed to be a bit boosted in the mid range, giving them a "boxy/nasal" sound.
this proved to be wrong when i played a new 20 bit recorded jazz cd in through my dvd player. recently, other higher quality recordings have just solidified my opinion of this speaker. I believe this quality cannot be matched for under$500.00

Strengths:
great range and soundfield

Weaknesses:
none

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
