The Comp 12''s give an amazingly deep toned, clean bass for the price. Just don''t turn it up!

Kicker''s so-called "High Power Lead Wires" are crap. The result of this junk is a blown voice coil every time you get to a good song and crank it.

I''ve only owned my 2 kicker comp 12''s for three months. I''m pushing them with a Pheonix Gold ZX2300 and already I''ve blown 3 subs. They seemed great in the beggining but now I''ve seen the light. They are just a neusance

I think that this product doesnt hit at all, and it sucks. POlease do no recommend it.

I would not recommend this product because it leaves a static sounding bass hit. The Solo Baric model is very nice instead

Kicker Comp VR

These subs ROCK! I made a box with the factory specs maxed out( dimensions supplied with purchase )and they sound awesome! I'm runnin a buddy's RF Punch.225 on them with a clarion high power cd player.The bass hits super-low.( down to 17Hz., according to the numbers ).I made two seperate boxes for easy handling. The patented stillwater design keeps them runnin' cool all day. In my opinion the RF Punch's power is a perfect match for THESE subs. ( the Punch is rated 112.5W X 2 @4ohms RMS, while the kickers are rated at 150W RMS ) I have personally tried several other well known amps on them ,but nothing compares to the RF. Maybe you should give the o'l kick and punch a try for yourself!

The voice coil is junk ,ihad them for 2 months then the voice coil blew

If you want something that really hits try some eclipse speakers or a crossfire amp ,both brands are really hard to find. But its worth it
